Greetings from Dallas Christian College
Our story has been written through the lives of thousands of people, many of which never knew each other. DCC had an anniversary last month. 59 years ago our founder, Vernon Newland, launched another in his series of enterprises to influence this world for Christ.
I never met Mr. Newland. He was killed in a plane crash a few years before my freshman year began. Naturally, he was leaving one ministry event in the southeastern Oklahoma for another inIowa. From East Asia to Middle America he changed countless lives, and I count myself among them.
I also share with Mr. Newland the privelege to lead this ministry with her students, alumni and friends. Many of them you will never know. But the dollars you send and the prayers you pray are our lifeblood. Some day you will see the eternal returns on the investment you have made here. Until then, you have my deepest gratitude.
